Boris watched with great attention as the new scarf (photo below) was taking shape. It is a traditional scarf made with Fexa "Cypress Mohair" yarn, using 2 (100gr) skeins, using the Brioche stitch. It is incredibly "cozy," soft and appealing. It is also an easy scarf to make! Now if Boris' taking this new scarf for himself was not enough, he now wants a matching hat!
We recently completed a very beautiful summer cardigan, made from ribbon yarn. It is a short design, very stylish, and is ideal for summer.
We are pleased to add two new scarves to our Knitting Gallery. The white one (below left) was made from "Smash Crazy" yarns and took two skeins to make. The orange one (below right) was made using three skeins of "Funny Streamers" yarn. Both are very beautiful, and are not difficult to make.
A "Diagonal Scarf" using Trendsetter ChaCha & Minestrone yarns. It creates a very unique, and beautiful scarf.
New "Graceful Shell" top made with two skeins of Trendsetter "Minestrone" yarn. This top is very striking, elegant, and functional. The Trendsetter yarn was perfect, and it is durable, as well as quite beautiful. We offer a class in making this top, which is a two hour class, and costs $30.
Another Moebius??? - Just when you thought there could not be any more variations... (believe it or not, there are two more Moebius in process!) This one is named "Scottish Wave", and it was made using three skeins of Karabella, New Magic yarn. It is quite exquisite, and the gold sparkles truly make this a unique complement for your wardrobe. It is light weight, and would be the perfect adornment for a party, or other social event.
The possibilities for a Moebius is limited only by your imagination. No two will be alike, and those subtale differences make a world of difference. The Infinity Moebius below represents subtle changes in how it was made, and they dramatically change the finished product. You can make them "upscale," "elegant," or for more casual attire, no matter, a hand knitted Moebius makes a dramatic statement and sets you apart i a very positive way. Trendsetter's "Cha Cha" is a very unusual yarn, with nearly limitless possibilities. It is a blend of 47% wool, 47% acrylic, and 6% polymide, and it is incredibly wonderful against the skin as it is very soft, and comfortable. The scarf below is testament to tis, and is available for you to see in the store. We offer a 1 hour class in making this scarf for $15. Cha Cha is available in ten different colors, and while we stock Cha Cha, it has sold quickly to the point that we have a re-order pending. This scarf is not terribly difficult to make, and can be a perfect complement to your wardrobe, or to setoff that perfect outfit for a special occasion.
This Arrow Lace Scarf was made with three skeins of Cascade "Pima Tencel" yarn, which is incredibly soft and inviting. It almost feels like silk, and is 50% cotton, and 50% Tencel. The finished scarf speaks for itself. Stop by the store and see for yourself.
We have an exciting new "variation" on the "Infinity Moebius," which will catch everyone's eye. This time it is a lace moebius with fringes. This was knitted using Erdal Magic, which is a rayon(70%)/cotton(30%) blend. The yarn is quite unique, and is ideal for summer, as it is light and airy. This Moebius definitely makes a fashion statement and will be a perfect completment to your summer attire. We offer a class in making this Moebius, which is two hours, and is $30.
We just completed a scarf knitted using Trendsetter Soleil yarn. It is incredible, both for it's artictic beauty, and quality. The yarn is extremely soft to the touch, and quite appealing. The design of this yarn is like no other. The photo below shows the scarf we have in the store for your inspection.
This incredible scarf was knitted using the Scarrufle pattern with Tilli Tomas Demi Plie "Green With Envy" 100% Silk yarn. The combination is really incredible...
The black purse, and cosmetic clutch pictured below were custom made a a customer who had very discriminating tastes and specifications as to what she wanted. This set was exactly what she wanted, and accommodates everthing she uses, including her cellular telephone! This purse is based on a unique, "Knitting Patch" design. We offer classes in making this purse, which is the most complex project class we offer. The work is worth the effort when you are finished, and it will be an attention getter wherever you go.
Although the two scarves featured below are not new creations, we have never before featured them. Both are knitted using lace weight yarns. The yellow scarf (below left) is a "Portrait Scarf (tube scarf)." It was knitted using 2 skeins of Kidseta (mohair/silk blend) from Madil Yarns. It is an elegant scarf. We offer a project class help you to create this scarf for $25. The green scarf (below middle & left) is a lace weight, reversibe cable design. It was knitted using 2 skeins of Karabella Gossamer yarn. We offer a project class to assist you in making this scarf for $25. Lace scarves are beautiful, and complement just about any wardrobe. They are ideally suited to upscale dresses/events such as weddings. They are difficult to knit, and do require attention to details, especially if you don't have much experience in lace knitting. It is fun... Moreover, these scarves make wonderful gifts. Knit the perfect gift now for Christmas...
Another new "Infinity" Moebius. This one made exclusively from "Leftover" yarn from the "Spring" Afghan made earlier in the spring... This is a beautiful example of the Infinity Moebius. Boris is happy to be modeling a new Citron scarf, which is made with Tilli Tomas yarn, which is exclusive to The Knitting Patch. The finish details on the edges of this scarf are really beautiful, and shown by the photo (below right). We used a proprietary technique in finishing these edges, which is the subject of one of our class offering.The sun has gotten a bit much for him to endure, so he decided he needed a hat to protect his eyes. Quite sporty...
An "Infinity Moebius..." knitted using Trendsetter's "Treasure" yarn. Treasure really is a treasure in that it contains a variety of textures and colors, which makes creating a unique garment easier, in that you do not need to use different yarns to get these effects.

We recently completed 4 new scarves made from Mondial Frivola & Rozetti Cocoon. Both are new yarns for us, and have made incredibly unique beautiful scarves. These are fairly simple projects, and make great gifts. These are on display in the store.
Boris modeling his new Pom Pom Scarf. We just completed the very unusual sweater featured below. It is quite unusual, and attractive. Moreover, it is very function for those cool days and nights we have been having lately. This is a top down design, and is easy to make. Just after we updated our website with the multitude of free patterns, we caught our "Mascot" - Boris surfing our website. He was quite taken with the "Cora" cabled scarf by Rowan, and he insisted that he wanted one. Boris is hard to say no to. Below is the scarf that was knitted according to Boris specifications. He was so pleased that he agreed to model it. This is the Rowan, Cora scarf, and you may dowload the pattern by clicking on any of the images below.

The Throw shown below (left - Yellow/Purple) is one we named "Leftovers" as it was made entirely from yarns that were left over from other knitting projects. We put them together and made an incredibly beautiful, soft/plush throw, which is just perfect the the cool weather we have been having lately. Throws for just about every decor...
