We are extremely excited to be the exclusive retailer for Nomad Yarns in Central Florida. Now most people are wonder what is Nomad Yarns... and Why have I never heard of it before. Those are great questions, and we are confident that once you learn about Nomad, and their very unique yarns made forom Camel in Mongolia, you will understand, and hopefully agree with our decision to feature this yarn. We recently received our first shipment, and we are very favorably impressed with the quality of the yarn. Camel does have the properties of Cashmere. It is incredibly soft, and feels great against your skin. Camel hair is also hypoallergenic, which is anothe rgreat aspect of this fiber. Over the past few years there have been some very interesting articles which have appeard in four different magazines, including Vogue Knitting discussing this yarn, and its origins in Mongolia. It is interesting to note that all spinning of this yarn is done by in Mongolia by the families of the herdsmen who tend to the Camels.
